Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, online ordering system, delivery services, and in-store purchases. By purchasing from or using the services of Parkside Liquor Beer & Wine, you agree to these Terms.

1. Legal Drinking Age

  • You must be of legal drinking age in Alberta (18 years or older) to purchase or receive alcoholic beverages from Parkside Liquor Beer & Wine.

  • A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented at the time of pickup or delivery.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any sale or delivery if age cannot be verified.

2. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of payment.

  • Prices and product availability may change without notice.

  • Orders are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD), including applicable taxes and bottle deposits.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise arranged (e.g., approved commercial accounts).

3. Delivery and Pickup

  • Delivery is available only to eligible addresses in compliance with Alberta liquor laws.

  • Customers must be present at the delivery address and provide valid ID at the time of delivery.

  • If the customer is unavailable or fails to provide valid ID, the order will be returned, and a redelivery fee may apply.

  • Orders must be inspected upon delivery or pickup for accuracy and any visible damage.

4. Shipped Orders (Outside of Lethbridge)

  • For products shipped outside of Lethbridge using a courier service, Parkside Liquor Beer & Wine is not responsible for any damage, delays, loss, or other issues that may occur during transit.

  • Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable local laws regarding alcohol shipments.

  • All claims for damage or loss must be filed directly with the courier.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Due to provincial liquor regulations and the nature of our products, all sales are final.

  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds on alcoholic beverages once they leave our store.

  • Any claims for damaged or incorrect items must be reported immediately at the time of pickup or delivery.

6. Responsible Consumption

  • Parkside Liquor Beer & Wine promotes the responsible sale and consumption of alcohol.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we believe is intoxicated or purchasing on behalf of a minor.

7. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and protect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

  • By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parkside Liquor Beer & Wine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products.

  • We are not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused by third-party courier services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Changes to These Terms

  • Parkside Liquor Beer & Wine reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

  • Updates will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.

  • Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
